Your ETERNAL quote shows the vehicle, mileage terms, third-party liability insurance, applicable taxes and roadside assistance. Fuel, optional extras, location-specific fees and protection package upgrades are shown separately before confirmation.

- Protection package upgrades with a reduced deductible

You can add extras to any ETERNAL booking online when you are creating your booking — or at the branch when you pick up your rental car.

How to add extras
- On the home page, select your pick-up and return locations and dates
- On the second page, select the vehicle you like
- On the third page, select the protection plan you find most suitable
- On the fourth and final page, select any extras you need
What extras cost
Extras are charged at a fixed price on top of your base rate (or, if stated as “Free,” you are not charged) — the exact amount is displayed before you confirm.
Every ETERNAL rental includes third-party liability insurance, 24/7 roadside assistance and all applicable taxes. Damage and theft cover is what the four protection plans add on top. If you do not choose one, "No Extra Protection" applies and you are liable up to the full value of the vehicle — so choose a plan online before pick-up to reduce that liability.
No Extra Protection – full liability
The default if you do not select a plan. No damage or theft cover is added, so you are liable up to the full value of the vehicle. It carries the higher €500 security deposit.
Basic Protection – deductible up to €503.58
Adds Collision & Theft Protection only, with a deductible of up to €503.58 per incident. Windscreen, glass and lights, tyres, underbody and interior are not covered.
Eternal Protection – no deductible
No deductible, and adds Windscreen, Glass & Lights Protection and Tyres Protection on top of Collision & Theft. Underbody and interior are not covered. Book online for a 20% discount on this plan.
Full Protection – no deductible, zero liability
No deductible and our widest cover: everything in Eternal Protection plus Underbody Protection and Interior Protection. Zero liability applies to vehicle damage and theft — "Other costs" are still not covered. Book online for a 30% discount. Our recommendation for longer rentals, vacation trips or premium vehicles.
What no package covers
- "Other costs" — this row is not ticked on any plan, Full Protection included
- Fuel, late-return and cleaning charges
- Traffic fines and their administration or processing fees
- Loss of vehicle documents or keys
- Intentional damage or breaches of the rental agreement
- Personal belongings — your travel or home contents insurance may apply
How to add a protection package
- Open the ETERNAL website and enter your pick-up and return locations and dates on the home page
- Select the vehicle you like
- Select the protection plan that suits you
- Continue and finish the reservation
Enter your ETERNAL voucher during the booking process on the ETERNAL website — the discount is applied immediately to your total.
Step by step
- Start your search on the ETERNAL website with your pick-up location, rental period and vehicle category
- Add any extras or protection packages, then enter your personal details
- Under Coupon Code Program, enter your coupon code and click Apply Coupon
- Complete your booking — the discount will be reflected in your total
Important conditions
- Only valid on new bookings with the Pay at Pick-up payment option
- Cannot be applied retroactively to existing or past bookings
- Check your coupon for country eligibility, vehicle category and rental period conditions
- The rental must be completed before the voucher expiry date
- ETERNAL's general Terms and Conditions for voucher bookings apply
Why isn't my coupon working?
- The country, rental period and vehicle category must meet the coupon conditions
- Double-check the coupon code for any spelling errors
- Confirm the coupon is still valid — the rental must be completed before the expiry date
ETERNAL rates are dynamic — the price you see may change based on demand, availability, or any adjustment to your dates or location. A rate is only guaranteed once your booking is confirmed.
Why your rate changed
- Dates shifted — even one day can move you into a different rate band
- Different pick-up location or airport terminal selected
- Demand for your selected dates has increased
- You are signed in under a different loyalty or corporate profile

Currency
ETERNAL displays prices in the local currency of the pick-up country or euros — foreign card payments are charged at your bank's exchange rate on the transaction date and may differ slightly from the quoted rate.

Request a child-seat category under "Add-ons" and provide the child’s age, height and weight. Availability and the exact seat model are confirmed for the booking; at handover, check the approval label, manufacturer limits and installation with our agent.
Which seat for which child
- Infant seat: request this for a baby and use it rear-facing whenever required by the seat label and applicable rules
- Child seat: choose according to the child’s current height and weight, within the exact model’s manufacturer limits
- Booster: for an older child only when the model limits and applicable restraint rules permit it
Good to know
- Reserve in advance because the number and type of seats are limited
- At handover, verify that the approval label and manufacturer range match your child before accepting the seat
