Cancel a booking
Cancellation deadlines, refunds and what happens to your deposit.
Cancel your ETERNAL booking online in under a minute. Both ways start from "Manage bookings" in the site header: if you have an ETERNAL account every booking is already in your profile, and if you booked as a guest you cancel with your reservation number and a code we email you.
If you have an ETERNAL account
- Sign in, then click "Manage bookings" in the header of the ETERNAL website
- Open the reservation you want to cancel — all of your bookings are in your profile
- Choose Cancel and confirm
If you booked as a guest
- Click "Manage bookings" in the header of the ETERNAL website
- Enter your reservation number and the last name on the reservation
- We email you a 6-digit code — enter it to open your reservation
- Choose Cancel and confirm
Either way, your cancellation confirmation arrives by email straight away.
Cancellation fees
There are none. Every ETERNAL booking can be cancelled free of charge at any time before pick-up, however late you tell us.
If you selected Pay at Pick-up, there is no rental payment to refund. If you prepaid online, the paid amount is returned to the original payment method after cancellation; your booking shows the refund status.
Next step
Open "Manage bookings" in the header to cancel your reservation. If you booked as a guest, have your reservation number and the email address you booked with to hand.
No. Cancelling is always free, whenever you do it — there is no cancellation fee and no charge for cancelling at short notice.
There is no cancellation fee. For a prepaid online booking, cancellation starts a refund to the original payment method; it does not mean the money is returned instantly.
The booking is marked as a no-show and closed. ETERNAL does not add a separate no-show fee, but any prepaid amount and refund status are handled under the payment and cancellation terms shown in your confirmation. Cancel before pick-up whenever possible.
We would still appreciate a quick message — even on the day — as it frees up the vehicle for another customer.
