Eternal+ rewards
How the free rewards programme works — earning points, spending them and the four tiers.
Eternal+ is our free rewards programme. There is nothing to sign up for separately — create an ETERNAL account and you are a member from that moment, at the Gold tier.
What you get
- Points on every completed rental, which you spend as money off a future booking
- Member rates when you are signed in
- A free additional driver on every tier
- Faster handovers, because we already have your details
- Free upgrades, wider vehicle choice and priority support as you climb the tiers
How to join
- Create an ETERNAL account, or sign in if you already have one
- That is it — your Eternal+ account is created with it, at no cost
- Sign in when you book for immediate account linking; same-email guest bookings are still matched automatically
Nice surprise: rentals you already had with us before opening the account are credited too, as long as they were booked with the same email address.

Every completed rental earns you two things at once: status points, which decide your tier, and rental points, which you spend. Both are calculated from the same amount.
What counts towards points
Points are earned on the car itself plus your protection plan. Mileage options, extras, the cross-border fee, delivery and other fees do not earn points, and the refundable deposit never counts at all.
The two point types
- Status points — 1 point per €1, on every tier. They decide which tier you reach and reset at the start of each calendar year
- Rental points — 1 point per €1 multiplied by your tier bonus. These are the points you spend, and they expire 24 months after the end of the calendar quarter in which they were earned
The tier bonus on rental points
| Tier | Rental points per €1 |
|---|---|
| Gold | 1.00 |
| Platinum | 1.25 |
| Diamond | 1.35 |
| President's Circle | 1.50 |
Points are credited automatically once the rental is completed. A signed-in booking is linked from the start; a same-email guest booking is matched automatically when you visit your account.

Spend them at checkout as money off the car. 50 rental points are worth €1, so points come back to you at roughly 2% of what you spend on the car and protection.
How to use them
- Sign in and book as usual
- At the last step your available points are shown automatically
- Choose how many to apply — the discount comes off the car
- Pay the rest by card or in cash at the handover
How much you can use at once
There is a limit per booking, so a rental can never be paid for entirely in points. Your tier decides the share of the car price points may cover:
| Tier | Most of the car price points can cover |
|---|---|
| Gold | 10% |
| Platinum | 15% |
| Diamond | 20% |
| President's Circle | 30% |
What points cannot pay for
Points come off the car only. Your protection plan, extras, mileage options, the cross-border fee, delivery and the deposit are always paid normally — even though the protection plan does earn you points.
Good to know: there is no limit on how long a rental can be when you redeem, and rental points stay valid until 24 months after the end of the quarter in which you earned them.

There are four tiers. You start at Gold the moment you open an account, and you climb by earning status points — 1 for every €1 you spend on a car and its protection.
| Tier | Status points needed | Points per €1 | Max discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gold | Entry tier | 1.00 | 10% |
| Platinum | 2,000 | 1.25 | 15% |
| Diamond | 4,000 | 1.35 | 20% |
| President's Circle | 6,000 | 1.50 | 30% |
What each tier adds
- Gold — points on every rental, member rates, a free additional driver and faster handovers
- Platinum — a bigger points bonus, a wider choice of vehicles and free upgrades when one is available
- Diamond — more points again, plus priority support
- President's Circle — the largest points bonus, the widest choice, upgrades when available and dedicated support
Keeping your tier
Status points count for the calendar year in which you earn them and reset on 1 January. A tier you reach this year is yours for the rest of this year and all of next year. Reach the threshold again in that second year and you keep it for another one.
Note: the tier bonus applies to the rental points you earn, never to status points. Status points are always 1 per €1, whatever your tier.

Yes. When you create your ETERNAL account, we look for rentals already completed under the same email address and credit them to your new Eternal+ balance automatically.
What you need to do
- Create the account with the same email address you booked those rentals with
- Nothing else — same-email guest bookings are matched automatically
- Contact us with the reservation number only if a past rental used a different email or the automatic match failed

First check that the rental is complete. Guest bookings made with the same email address are matched automatically; contact us only if the booking used a different email or the automatic match failed.
Check first
- Points appear only once the rental is completed, not when you book
- A guest booking made with your account email is matched automatically; a different email address or a failed automatic match needs our help
- Only the car and the protection plan earn points — a booking made up mostly of extras and fees earns less than you might expect
Ask us to credit it
If the booking used a different email or the automatic match failed, send us the reservation number and the email address used for the booking so we can review and link it.
